HPMC/HEMC:

➡️Thickening performance

Has thickening properties, which are related to the molecular weight, chemical type and concentration of  different cellulose ether products.

➡️Water solubility

Dissolves easily in cold water.

➡️Water retention performance

Is a highly effective water-retaining agent that can reduce water loss.

➡️Thermal gelling property

       Aqueous solution produces a gel state at a certain temperature, but with the decrease of temperature, the gelstate changes back to the original solution state, which is reversible.

       ➡️Surface activity

Remains stable in the pH3.0-11.0 range, but its solubility is easily affected by acids and bases.

➡️Lubricity

Has lubricating properties that improve workability, reduce friction and improve the pumpability of sprayed mortars in cement and ceramic extrusion.
